Super Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies

One of the recipes I taught my daughter to make a few years ago is our Super Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe!

There's no mix. No prepackaged garbage. It's 100% from scratch!

Good old fashioned chocolate chip cookies!

They're not difficult to make. And, only take a few ingredients to pull together!

And, honestly, they come out perfect every time!

Every time I've made them for parties, as gifts, etc.. everyone raves about them! It's crazy because they're so simple. But oh so yummy!

This also gave me a chance to teach her how to use one of my favorite kitchen appliances... my KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer!

I've had this stand mixer for years!

It's a total work horse and worth every penny!

It has 3,270 reviews on Amazon! And, it's the only stand mixer with a perfect 5 star rating!

Yeah, if you bake... get yourself over to Amazon and grab this mixer!

Mixing Bowl

Even though you're using a stand mixer, you still need a mixing bowl for the dry ingredients before you place them into the stand mixer.

We use our CorningWare bowls as mixing bowls.

Our CorningWare set definitely does double-duty around here!

This is my favorite CorningWare set:

Cookie Sheets

When we make these chocolate chip cookies, we like to bake them on round cookie sheets. These are our favorite round cookie sheets:

(These round cookie sheets are also perfect for cooking homemade or frozen pizza, too!)

Forming the Cookies

You can use your hands and roll them into small balls or use a couple of spoons and work them into little saucers.

Personally, we use either a small ice cream scoop or a cookie scoop!

Using a scoop makes perfectly shaped cookies every time!

And, the nice thing about having all of your cookies the same size and shape is they all cook evenly. Each one tastes as perfectly delicious as the next!

And, it makes this part of the process much faster, too!

This is the cookie scoop we love using for this:

Cooking Demo

Here I show you step-by-step how easy it is to throw together these Super Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Cookie Cooling Rack

We like to move our cooked chocolate chip cookies from the hot cookie sheet to a cookie cooling rack. This is our favorite cookie cooling rack:

We let them cool on the cookie cooling rack for about 15 minutes then move them right away into an air tight glass storage container.

Cookie Storage

This recipe makes a couple dozen super yummy chocolate chip cookies. They'll keep, nice and soft, in the fridge for a week if you store them correctly.

These are our favorite Pyrex glass storage containers for storing our cookies in:

We think you'll love these chocolate chip cookies as much as we do!
