The Benefits of Matrixyl Synthe'6

Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum is a powerful peptide that stimulates 6 major parts of your skin to, for lack of a better description, fill your wrinkles from the inside out! Yeah, there's some major anti-aging benefits here. Let's get into it...

My favorite Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum is from Timeless Skincare.

I love that the Timeless Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid which makes it super hydrating, too.

This formula is also paraben free, cruelty free, fragrance free, and no color or dye is added. And, it's made in the USA.

What does Matrixyl Synthe'6 do?

Matrixyl Synthe'6 is a powerful polypeptide, with six critical skin-building essentials, that targets pronounced wrinkles and expression lines.

It helps to restore firmness to the skin while improving the skin's elasticity.

It lifts and plumps tired and damaged skin to reveal firmer, younger looking skin.

Which is better, Matrixyl Synthe'6 or Matrixyl 3000?

As discussed in my review of Matrixyl 3000 (you can read that article here), the question really isn't which is better, it should be what is the difference between Matrixyl Synthe'6 and Matrixyl 3000?

Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum contains a deoxygenated lipopeptide that stimulates the six main ingredients of the skin at the matrix and dermal-epidermal junctions: (collagen I, III, IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid).

While Matrixyl 3000 helps to reverse and inhibit glycation damage.

What is Glycation Damage?

Glycation damage is when our skin looses collagen and elastin due to aging and environmental factors.

As we age, and are exposed to environmental damage, such as from the sun, our skin becomes weak, and less supple.

Signs of glycation damage are easily noted on the skin's surface as fine lines, wrinkles, sagginess, and a loss of radiance.

Matrixyl Synthe'6 and Matrixyl 3000 help to rebuild your skin from the inside out. They're both powerful peptides that support collagen synthesis in slightly different ways.

And they both contain Hyaluronic Acid to further increase your skin's hydration levels, making it smoother and healthier.

As I stated in the Matrixyl 3000 review, that's a huge plus in my book, especially if you have both dry and mature skin... which I do!

So, it's not a question of which is better Matrixyl Synthe'6 or Matrixyl 3000. Or which one should I use? They both work on different parts of the aging process. When they work together, their effectiveness is increased. So it's more of here is why you need to use both of them daily to reap the best anti-aging benefits!

How to store Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum

To get the best possible results from your Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum, it should be housed in an opaque, glass container, in a cool environment and away from direct sunlight to ensure it remains potent and you get the longest shelf life.

The Timeless Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum comes in the correct type of container ensuring the longest shelf life from your serum when properly stored.

Personally, I keep all of my serums refrigerated so they're not subjected to temperature fluctuations and to extend their shelf life.

I reviewed The Best Skincare Mini Fridge to store your serums, moisturizers, Retin-A - all of your skincare! You can read that article, here.

Should I be using Matrixyl Synthe'6?

Matrixyl Synthe'6 is recommended for Normal, Dry, and Mature skin!

I'm not sure why it's not recommended for Oily skin. I'd reach out to Timeless, directly if you have oily skin and want to use this serum.

If you have Normal, Dry, or Mature Skin this is definitely one you need to add to your anti-aging skincare arsenal!

Can I use Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum everyday?

Yes, you can use it daily, preferably before your moisturizer.

Personally, I use my Timeless Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.

Parting thoughts...

I've been using the Timeless Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum for just under a year and love the benefits I'm seeing. It's definitely one of my favorite anti-aging serums!

I've noticed my skin looks plumper and more hydrated. Especially on my cheeks where I've sustained the most sun damage and have the largest loss of both collagen and elastin.

If you're looking to add Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum to your skincare regime, I highly recommend the one from Timeless Skincare, here!
